Raoul PIQUEREL is mainly responsible for preparing and obtaining patents for his clients. He also carries out prior art searches and freedom-to-operate studies.
Raoul Piquerel is heavily involved in the protection and promotion of research and innovation, and its major clients include many university laboratories, technology transfer companies and leading manufacturers. He assists his clients with patent grant procedures at French and European level, as well as in many foreign countries, most regularly the United States, China, Canada, Japan and Korea.

His practice covers a wide range of technical fields, including :

  • Microelectronics and nanotechnologies;
  • IT, software and artificial intelligence;
  • Electronics and electrical engineering;
  • Energy and process engineering; and
  • Renewable energies, particularly photovoltaics.

Raoul is based in Grenoble.

 

Career
Raoul Piquerel prepared a doctoral thesis in spintronics at the CNRS in Grenoble. He completed his training with a post-doctorate in quantum physics in a Spanish laboratory. After several years working for a design office specialising in optics and a finite element simulation software publisher, Raoul joined a Paris-based industrial property firm.

He joined HAUTIER IP in 2024.
